There was very little coverage on American media but the rain event that followed hurricanes Eta and Iota were extremely damaging across Central America. There was so little coverage it was as if we didn't care about our neighbors to the south but, of course, we were obsessed with the presidential election and the virus emergency here in the States.
The videos below, as well as those on the home page, help to provide a greater understanding of just how bad conditions were to the south. Even if you don't speak Spanish, the stories these videos show are very clear: massive destruction and random coping with the results in the aftermath. The video that is most interesting to me is the one immediately below showing how residents of one area tried to cope with the loss of a crucial bridge.
